The Mahindra XUV 300 has finally been launched in India and here are the prices. The Petrol version of the new 2019 Mahindra XUV 300 is priced between Rs 7.90 Lakhs to Rs 11.44 Lakhs and the Diesel version is priced between Rs 8.49 Lakhs to Rs 11.99 Lakhs. Both Petrol and Diesel versions gets 4 variants. The W4, the W6, the W8 and the W8 with the optional package.

The Mahindra XUV 300 takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Ford Ecosport. That being said, it is more expensive than its rivals for both Petrol and Diesel variants as you can see in the price comparison table below.

The Diesel engine on the new XUV 300 is a 1.5 Liter 4-cylinder turbocharged motor that generates 117 Bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. The Petrol engine on the other hand is a 1.2 Liter 3-cylinder turbocharged motor generating 110 Bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque.
Fuel economy is rated at 17 kmpl for the Petrol engine and the Diesel gets the fuel economy rating of 20 kmpl. Both the engines are mated to a 6-Speed manual gearbox but Mahindra has already confirmed that the automatic version for the XUV 300 is in the works already. There will also be an all-electric version of the XUV 300 that will probably be launched in the Fall 2020.

The Mahindra XUV 300 gets an impressive list of features. The top-spec variant comes with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a sunroof and dual zone climate control, but it misses out on the rear AC vents. The SUV also gets 7-airbags, stability control and ABS with all four disc brakes providing it with the class leading safety.
The XUV 300 also gets features like cruise control, auto-headlamps, auto-dimming inside rear view mirror and heated outside rear view mirror.

On the exterior, the Mahindra XUV 300 gets LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps along with dual tone roof option. The compact SUV rides either on 16-inch wheels or 17-inch alloy wheels. The XUV 300 also gets class leading wheelbase of 2,600mm while the ground clearance is rated at 180mm.
With its upright stance, the XUV 300 looks small as a SUV as compared to a crossover, and that will work really well with Indian audience.
