New Delhi: If you’re often keen on buying stuff from roadside vendors or give some money to a beggar across a traffic signal, then be cautious. This is a violation of the Traffic Rules under the Motor Vehicles Act, which can invoke a fine of upto one thousand rupees (Rs.1,000) can be made.
So far, such violations were ignored by the Delhi Police, but after preparing for action against the ‘Crash-Guard’ or ‘Bull Bar’ (Iron Rod) in front of the car, Delhi Police will also launch an awareness campaign in this regard. Mr. Dipendra Pathak, Special Commissioner of Delhi Traffic Police said, “Such campaigns are ran from time to time. Their aim is not to punish anyone, but to make the drivers aware about the law and dangers associated with such violations.
Somehow you are breaking the traffic rules un-intentionally. As we step on the road, we insist on not violating any traffic rules, such as jumping the traffic signal, not tying the seat belt or keeping the car full of paper while driving the car, but there are many more smaller things that go un-noticed, due to which you may violate the traffic rules. There is a provision of fine for violation of such traffic rules, and you may have to appear in the court.
Moreover, there are many more violations that go un-noticed normally, but if caught, you can definitely get a violation ticket, for which you have to pay the fine or appear in court or both. Take a look at more of these ‘crazy’ violations –
