Time flies and its exactly been two years since Hyundai launched the Creta for sale in India. From the day it was launched, it received a gigantic response way more than the likes of Ford Ecosport and Renault Duster. Creta has been clocking sales of over 8,000 units per month, which is way more than its closest rival. Here is the list of the reasons that why the SUV continues to remain undefeated even after two years of its launch.

Creta comes with a length of 4,270 mm, 190 mm ground clearance and with a wheelbase of 2,590 mm, which is the ideal size for a SUV. It’s quite comfortable and even more spacious on the inside than it appears. Keeping these dimensions in mind, the Creta is easier to drive around as compared to full sized SUVs. It looks quite catchy and very appealing on the road. All these gives the Creta an overall  advantage over other SUVs without any worries.

No Real Competitor

Though there might be other rivals on sale as well such as the Maruti S-CROSS or the Renault Duster, but they aren’t performing much. The Renault Duster is waiting for a major facelift since it has aged a lot. Its facelift unveiling is scheduled for September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The S-Cross is also due for a facelift but even then, its not much appealing as the Creta itself.

Feels Totally Premium

One of the best thing that Hyundai is doing nowadays is that it has started giving a premium feel to the cabin. The quality of plastics across the vehicle and improved features reflect perfection. Now, it also gets a full touchscreen MMI infotainment system that comes with built-in navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and rear camera. There is everything present in it that one can expect in this price bracket. The Creta includes hyundai’s key-less entry (same as that of i20) and projector headlamps with LED DRLs. The top of the line trim comes with 6 airbags, ABS and dual front airbags are standard on all models.

Hyundai is quite smart in keeping their vehicles fresh. Even though Creta has been 2 years old, it really doesn’t feel so. In order to make the Creta more upmarket and improved always, Hyundai has been frequently updating the vehicle with new features, special editions and adding in other variants as well. With a rise in craze for black roofs in the Indian market, Hyundai has launched a new dual tone edition recently with more appealing decals at the sides and a full-black roof.
